Voiceless envisions a world in which animals are treated with respect and compassion. They believe in the power of education to ensure a better future for animals and work to educate and inspire a new generation to think critically and make positive changes for animals.
Over the past fifteen years, Voiceless has been at the forefront of creating a new social justice movement – animal protection. The small but dedicated team has worked tirelessly to ensure their vision of a respectful and compassionate world for animals becomes a reality. Fifteen years ago, the Australian animal protection movement was vastly different. Today, Voiceless is proud to be the home of animal law and animal protection education, developing critical-thinking skills in our next generation of influencers and decision-makers.
Voiceless’ Animal Law Education (ALE) is a multi-faceted program for law schools and students engaging lawyers in animal protection and issues in our legal systems and their Animal Protection Education (APE) encourages students to think critically about animal protection. Teachers are provided with information and tools to explore the human-animal relationship in our society, and APEs are created by educators for educators and are aligned with the Australian high school curriculum.
Why did we choose to support Voiceless?
Dr. Bronner’s believes all animals should be treated with respect for their well-being and be protected from abuse, cruelty, and suffering. We support organisations working to address the terrible plight of factory farmed animals, promote more compassionate and sustainable lifestyle choices, and defend ocean wildlife around the world.
