Earth Friendly Farmers & Friends - Australians in Regenerative Agriculture

As part of our Heal Earth campaign, we handed the mic to some of Australia's incredible regenerative and organic farmers, educators and ambassadors. We discovered more about the regenerative agricultural practices taking place in our country, how they're helping to combat climate change, helping our communities and our livelihoods, as well as how you can support them.

Thank you to all the those who shared their voices. We've put together a few of the highlights and hope that you're as inspired as us to support your local farmers and continue learning about regenerative agriculture and the role it plays in shaping our future.  Scroll down to learn more about the earth friendly farmers and friends we featured in the below video. 

In order of appearance:

Maree Lowes: a fabulous storyteller, changemaker and permaculture enthusiast, among many other things. You may also recognise her from Dirt Girl World! Maree is passionate about how we cultivate a more resilient Australia for future generations and is currently studying her Masters in Sustainable Development & Disaster Resilience through the UN. 

Andre Leu, International Director of Regeneration International: We were lucky enough to have Andre speak alongside David Bronner on a panel as part of the Sustainable Living Festival last year in Melbourne, and were blown away by his knowledge and passion, particularly in relation to Regen's role in combatting Climate Change. 

Carolyn Suggate, Founder of Organic and Regenerative Investment Cooperative (ORICoop) which creates a more aligned connection between farmers, eaters, healthy farmland and our financial systems. Carolyn also does an incredible job spearheading the Organic Farmer's Bushfire Appeal which Dr. Bronner's proudly donated to last year. 

Ray Milidoni, Farming Secrets: Ray joined Hugo and Helen Disler from Farming Secrets as a partner little while ago to manage all the wonderful content and resources the organisation has been providing to farmers for decades. Ray is passionate about regenerative farming and education and is excited to continue the legacy of Farming Secrets. 

Charlie Arnott, Biodynamic Farmer, Educator & Landcare Australia Ambassador:  If you haven't already listened to Charlie's podcast, 'The Regenerative Journey', check it out.  He is a wealth of knowledge and interviews some incredible people from Australia and beyond! 

Helen McCosker, Carbon8: An incredible organisation created by farmers for farmers, Carbon8 helps farmers transition to regenerative agriculture and work towards a more regenerative future together.

dirtgirl: We're very pleased that Maree was also happy to don the overalls and share some of that dirtgirl wisdom you may have seen on ABC TV for the last few years, especially if you have little one!
