New Labels

Dr. Bronner’s undertook a redesign of the company’s iconic labels early in 2015 and labels have been rolling out across international markets.

“For this current refresh of our labels,” says Michael Bronner, President of Dr. Bronner’s, “we have gone to our past to define our future. With a label as densely-worded as our own, we have now given proper balance to all the information and improved the readability of our grandfather’s message for optimal bathroom reading.”

All original content remains on the castile liquid soap labels. Content on the brand’s newer products such as the pump soaps also includes text that speaks to how the company is putting its mission into action through Fair Trade, protecting Organic Integrity  and advocating for social and environmental justice across a range of issues.

The new labels’ colours have been freshened and aligned and some product titles have been changed to make products more easily identified & understood.

ORGANIC HAND AND BODY SHIKAKAI SOAP is now called 4-IN-1 SUGAR ORGANIC PUMP SOAP, without a change in the ingredients. ‘4-in-1’ is a nod to the famous 18-in-1 uses of Dr. Bronner’s Liquid Castile Soap. The 4 uses are listed as hands, face, body and hair! SPEARMINT PEPPERMINT PUMP SOAP is now PEPPERMINT PUMP SOAP. LEMONGRASS LIME has had a dramatic colour change to a bright lime green from the demur Hunter green and some lotions and lip balms are enjoying bright new colours.

There has also been some tweaking and brightening of colours in our Liquid Castile Soap rainbow.
