Our Islands Our Home is a campaign led by Torres Strait Islanders to protect their island homes. Torres Strait Islanders are on the frontline of the climate crisis, and urgent action is needed to ensure they can remain on their Islands. King tides, erosion, inundation and coral bleaching are threatening the homes and cultures of Torres Strait Islander people, while the Australian Government refuses to address the climate crisis.

Our Islands Our Home began in 2019 when eight Torres Strait Islanders, the Torres Strait 8, launched an historic climate change litigation case: the first ever human rights complaint made to the UN due to inaction on climate change. On 23rd September 2022 the UNHRC found in the Torres Strait 8’s favour, setting a precedent for Indigenous Peoples all around the world.

The campaign has now grown to become a powerful Torres Strait Islander led grassroots climate justice movement.

We change who we support every two months in order to donate to a variety of causes. The causes that we have supported so far are Sea Shepherd, Edgar's Mission, QLife, Voiceless, Sisters Inside, The Asylum Seeker Resource Centre, Take 3, Where Pigs Fly, Lamb Care Australia, StreetSmart, Seed Mob, RISE, St Kilda Mums, The Great Australian Bight Alliance, Carbon8, Organic Investment Cooperative, Northern Rivers Flood Relief Fund, Surfer's for Climate, Purple House, Surfrider, Orange Sky, Original Power and The Returning. This is an ever-growing list of organisations that we support.

This deluxe sample pack comes in a reusable calico bag and includes a 59mL Pure-Castile Liquid Soap, a sample size Pure-Castile Bar Soap and a mix of four sachets.
